How to download COVID-19 vaccination certificate from Co-WIN website, without Aarogya Setu app?
Vaccination in India is going on full swing. The second phase of the Covid-19 vaccination drive began in India on March 1, 2021. There are currently two vaccines that are being administered in India – Covaxcin developed by Bharat Biotech and the other is Covishield developed by the Serum Institute of India, Pune.
Registration is required for COVID Vaccination, which is either done by citizens themselves or by healthcare facility during vaccination drives. Citizens can go to http://www.cowin.gov.in to register themselves or via the Aarogya Setu app, which has CoWIN app integration. Co-WIN is a platform for the citizens of India to Register for COVID-19 vaccination and schedule their vaccination slots at the nearest vaccination centers. Aarogya Setu app is a useful app to have. But not everyone may be using smartphones. So, this post does not cover Aarogya Setu app.
This post only explain how to download COVID-19 vaccination certificate from Co-WIN website without Aarogya Setu app.
Here is a step-by-step guide to download the Covid-19 vaccination certificate.
If you got vaccinated, it means you are already registered. Now, to download the vaccination certificate, follow the steps below:
1.Open any browser on your computer or smartphone.
2.Visit the official website of Co-WIN at https://cowin.gov.in
3.Find the REGISTER/SIGN-IN button on the webpage and click on it.
You will be redirected to https://selfregistration.cowin.gov.in/
4.Enter your 10-digit mobile number and click on GET OTP.
You will receive an OTP on the phone number provided.
5.Enter the OTP and click VERIFY
Your details and vaccination status is displayed on the webpage. Next due date is also displayed if second dose is pending.
6.Click on CERTIFICATE.
Your vaccination certificate (PDF) should be downloaded to your computer or phone. Check DOWNLOADS folder on your computer or phone.
You can save the Certificate in soft copy or print it for future reference. You can get the vaccination certificate for the first dose and after second dose also.
